Interview With A San Francisco Graffiti Artist

I was lucky enough to come upon these graffiti artists at work in San Francisco's Tenderloin District, and cajole them into a candid interview. Hang in for the awesome video mix-down towards the end featuring Sattva Ananda's "rev hit da dance floor" along with my own photography and video of some of San Francisco's best graffiti art!

I would love to hear your comments on this, please leave them below. Much love to all!

Early Morning In Bodega Bay

I love the early morning. Here is some footage I shot in Bodega Bay, California. Enjoy the relaxing sounds of the ocean.

San Francisco Street Performers

I got some good footage today down on Market Street in San Francisco. There are some dancers and jugglers here for your viewing enjoyment.

In Memory Of Bear

I just found out through facebook that a childhood friend of mine, Bear Loranger, died very suddenly yesterday. At first I didn't believe it, because I had heard a false rumor that he had died some years earlier--someone told me he had been bitten and killed  while farming rattlesnakes. However, after awhile the reports started to come in and I realized this time it must be true.

Bear and I weren't as close as I would have liked. I only learned his last name today. We shared many mutual friends and partied together often, but we largely ran in different circles. Nevertheless, when we did see each other there was always a strong feeling of camaraderie and affection between us. Later in life, I would often see him at the community college. He was studying culinary arts and I was studying law, so we didn't share any classes, but we would often stop and chat when passing each other in the halls. I sensed that somehow he and I had more in common than just growing up in the same town.

I don't have a picture of Bear, but this photo reminds me of his kind spirit.

I am so glad to have known you, Bear. You lived on the edge and your light was bright and strong. I wish we had more time to spend together. Sail on, dear friend...the rest of us are close behind.

2010 A Spike Odyssey, Part II

Sorry it took me so long to get Part II up. I have learned that working with video and sound files can be extremely time consuming. Nevertheless, here it is at last. Special thanks to Sattva Ananda for his musical arrangements.

Affiliate Program Pays Off!

Most of you know that I have been trying for a long time to figure out how to make a decent income on the web with my computer. Over the last year and a half I have tried all kinds of different affiliate marketing programs and web-hosting platforms, but met with little success. It was easy to make a small stream of income, but nothing really significant enough to speak of.

Well, recently I tried a new program with a web-hosting company called Site Build It! After only a few days of using their program I was blown away when I logged into my account to see a balance of $78. These guys make everything really easy! This video kind of sums up my experience with SBI so far!
